(As you can see I’ve start putting thumbnails of the art above a cut now. It looks a bit more colourful but a lot more messy, lol!)
District 9 is one of my new favourite sci fi films. I’ve never really seen a film of this genre done in a found-footage-documentary style, but I think it packs a harder punch for not being all-cinematic.
Anyway, have Prawn hybrid!Wikus (trying and failing to get a likeness to the lovely Sharlto Copley of course) and some Prawn head studies. Those guys are hard to draw!

…and then I saw all the Christopher/Wikus on plus4chan and I thought ‘y’know, I do like alien/human stuff.’ So here you go.

Welcome to my newest fandom, ladies and gents- the fantastic cult comedy Spaced, directed by Edgar Wright and starring two of my favourite Men of the Hour, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. I blame my sister for getting me into this.

This one is slightly earlier, just a compilation of sketches from the movies Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, including a recolour of my Hot Fuzz Danny/Nicholas picture. These movies are again directed by Mr. Wright, and star Mr Pegg and Mr Frost. Check ‘em out if you can!
(I added a bonus fanart of The Boat that Rocked, KIRA-style!)

My sister asked me to draw this after seeing it at her bf’s house… I finally got to see it the other day. Expect more art of it, lol! I wish I had been able to see it when it came out. I think I would have been far more excited when I saw Nick Frost at the London Expo, lol XD
Ah, nostalgia… being introduced to Watchmen meant that I spent a large part of early 2009 laughing at Ozymandias jokes and wanting to buy anything with owls on it. :>
